The Tuya WiFi gas leak detector is designed to detect dangerous concentrations of combustible gases and provide timely warning of a gas leak. The device detects natural gas, coal gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). When a leak is detected, the sensor activates its built-in loud alarm and also sends a notification via the internet to the owner's smartphone.
The detector connects to a home 2.4GHz WiFi network and works with the Tuya Smart / Smart Life applications. When an alarm is triggered, the user receives a notification on their smartphone even when away from home. The application also allows you to share access to the device with other users, so several family members can monitor the detector.
In addition to app-based control, the device supports Tuya smart home ecosystem features, including voice control through compatible smart home systems. For local alarm notification, an internet connection or smartphone is not required — when gas is detected, the built-in alarm sounds at 85dB at a distance of 1 meter.
The compact 90 × 90 × 34mm housing can be installed on a wall or ceiling. The detector is powered by DC 5V via USB cable. The housing is made of ABS plastic, with an operating temperature range of −10°C to +50°C and a maximum operating humidity of 95% RH.

Important: The device requires a DC 5V power supply to operate. The USB cable is included, but the power adapter is not included. To receive remote smartphone notifications, the detector must be connected to a WiFi network with internet access.
